Hi there,

Restaurants Canada continues to be at the table, working with all levels of government to ensure the concerns of the foodservice community are being addressed as part of the evolving response to COVID-19.

One area where we have been gaining ground is the sale of alcohol with takeout and delivery food orders. While this is just a small sliver of what is needed to offset losses from this ongoing crisis, it is a start.

On Tuesday, Alberta made a regulatory change to make this possible, then Saskatchewan did the same on Wednesday, and now British Columbia has made this change as well.
