It's always fun to imagine what the future will look like. A Japanese tech company released this video of what a restaurant of the future might look like - and we'd like to think that it's pretty interesting!

Technology is on its way to becoming a mainstay in restaurants, bars and the foodservice industry at large. The interconnectivity is allowing for faster response from patrons and immeasurable cost-saving ability. From POS tech to even helping manage supply chain costs and payroll, it has been a tremendous help for growing and bettering our already existing processes. At Restaurants Canada, we envision more of an integration with tech;  we just can't imagine a restaurant without it's staff - they are what makes our industry great.
